Welcome to our daily news round up! Good Morning....
Quite a sunny day on Friday. As the weekend approaches energy levels pepping up to the core. Especially today at Wishesh we wish all our readers a 'Happy Janmashtami'. And we also wish our colleagues who are holding a party for the entire Wishesh team. We wish them all the best too. The nation is busy celebrating the pompous festival inspite of pitfalls politically, economically and setbacks in the GDP. Indian culture is amazing, we are tuned with short term memory loss, which is a gift any way. Thank God. Off from philosophy lets take a zoom into our daily updates.
Tirupati: Steady rise in devotees at the Lord of Seven Hills Shri Venkateswara's shrine, as the week end is fast approaching. Sources say that nearly 31 waiting halls have been filled and the Darshan might take nearly 18+ hours. For stats on Thursday, 68,848 number of devotees had the Lord's darshan. TTD has arranged water tankers to the Tirumala town on the foot hills of the shrine. A noble initiative in the water scarce town, say sources.
Hyderabad: Road caves in at the Punjagutta main road at the Punajagutta Sai Baba temple road junction. Traffic is moving at slower pace. Whether GHMC takes care of the issue or not senior traffic police are there on the spot and taking care of guiding the traffic. Kudos to them on behalf of Wishesh and its team of readers.
Srisailam: State DGP Dinesh Reddy visited the temple town today. He took part in the morning rituals at Sri Bramarambika Mallikharjuna Swamy Temple. He took part in the 'mangala harathi seva' in the early hours of the day.
Vijayawada: Due to heavy rains in the uplands of Krishna River, water is gushing into the river. It is a cynosure to watch the river which was almost dry at certain places in the recently ended high drought summers. Temperatures to be cooler in the coming days round the day.
Khammam: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who was there in the Khammam district as a part of the 'Indiramma Bata' ends his tour today and is expected to reach back the capital, in the evening.
Weather: Another depression on the anvil and the state is to get more showers in the week ends. However due to monsoons virulence in Karnataka, Rayalaseema to have more rains, says the meteorological department.
