Will CM ask Partha to quit!

There is wide speculations around the assembly that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy might ask the Secondary education minister Parthasarathy to quit from the cabinet. As per sources CM and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana are awaiting orders from the high command. Sources add that the two leaders had spoken at length on the issue to the party state affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Inspite of Mr Parthasarathy meeting the CM on Wednesday and explaining about his innocence, sources say that the CM was not very much convinced.  However out of the office speaking to media the minister said, “I don’t think there is any reason for me to quit. The question of owning moral responsibility does not arise as irregularities allegedly committed by me had happened eight years before I entered public life.” The minister also said that the court suspended the sentence for a month and gave him permission to challenge the verdict in a higher court. He also expressed confidence that he shall come out clean in the affair that had happened much before he started his political career.

However opinion differs in the state head quarters, fear sources and the axing might be inevitable after the prolonged uproar over the issue by oppositions. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
