SC questions State why it didn't crack its whip on agitating advocates

The Supreme Court has expressed its anguish against the State Government over the incidents that took place on High Court premises during Telangana agitation. The apex court questioned as to why it hasn't taken any steps on those pleaders who indulged in clashes on the court premises. It has even questioned whether the government was supporting rowdy-ism in courts and asked as to why the licenses of those lawyers should not be canceled.

Asking whether judges should come to court wearing helmets, the Supreme Court questioned on how many advocates-who took part in the agitation-did the government cracked its whip. The court further said that there was a possibility of attacks on even the judges in case judges' verdict don't please a section of people.

While so far only politicians, economists and aam aadmi (common people) questioned the apparent inefficiency of the government, now even the highest court of law in the country too questioned the inefficient approach of the State Government. The political observers said such remarks would give enough scope for certain Congress leaders to pin point at Kiran Kumar Reddy and press their efforts to bring him down from CM chair. Will that really happen in near future? High command alone knows the answer!
