CM on mission to re-vitalise Congress

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s extensive tours are sure to re-vitalise the Congress party, while preparing a solid base for the forthcoming General Elections in 2014. CM has taken up the mission after the recent dismal performances at the byelections.  His next leg of tour commences at East Godavari District, today.

CM shall touchdown Rajahmundry at around 11 am and shall proceed further. The schedule for the whole day is filled with meetings and overseeing the ongoing welfare schemes at the villages. Ofcourse the main agenda of CM’s tour is to inaugurate the Bhupathipalem irrigation Project that would benefit farmers of almost 33 villages and over 14,000 acres of agricultural lands. The first of its kind project, in the agency areas of the district, costs the exchequer Rs 151 Cr.

Another important part of the schedule is that, CM shall dine with AP Residential College Students and also will rest there for the night. This schedule of the CM reminds many of the hectic campaigning done by the former `Chief Ministers Late N T Rama Rao and Late Y S Rajashekar Reddy’. The only difference was they went for winning people’s confidence and the present leader is moving to re-build confidence.  (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
