Judges involved in Gali bail case

Karnataka former tourism minister Gali Janardhan Reddy has allegedly resorted to all unfair means to get the bail despite having all chances of getting bail through fair means. The anti corruption bureau has said that Gali Janardhan Reddy lured judges to get the bail. When Nagamaruti Sharma was the principal judge of CBI Court, K Lakshminarasimha Rao (who was in the rank of High Court registrar) tried for the bail of Gali Janardhan Reddy, said ACB to the ACB court.  The ACB has also said that Nagamaruti Sharma has denied the request of K Lakshminarasimha Rao.

Lakshminarasimha Rao was silent for sometime and in meantime Nagamaruti Sharma got transferred and Pattabirama Rao became the in charge judge. Lakshminarasimha took this as an advantage and intensified his efforts. The deal was about to work out, which was RS. 15 crore. However, it didn't work out as  Pattabhirama Radidn't accept to the conditions of Gali Janardhan Reddy's family members. Meanwhile, ABC looked into this issue and new things came to light and another case was registered. ACB made judge D Prabhakar Rao as the prime accused. It also named the mediator Ravi Suresh Babu as he second accused and small causes court chief judge K L Narasimha Rao.

Among these accused, the ACB arrested Surya Prakash Rao on July 9, Lakshminarasimha Rao on July 11 and on July 10 Prabhakar Rao got arrested. They were produced before the court and court remanded them to 14 days judicial custody. We have to wait and see as to how many more twists and turns will Gali Janardhan Reddy's bail case would take.
