Former minister J C Diwakar Reddy has reiterated that his stand on Rayala Telangana would not change. Reacting on the statements made by minister T G Venkatesh, Diwakar Reddy has said that he would not change his stand on the statehood issue. Earlier, J C Diwakar Reddy said that Rayala Telangana should be formed.

It may be recalled that there was a proposal of merging two backward districts of Rayalaseema region for carving out Rayala Telangana. Many leaders from Rayalaseema region have said yes for Rayala Telangana state. In fact, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi too supported Rayala Telangana state.
