GoM Finalized Telangana Bill

GoM finalized the Telangana Bill last night and it is going to the Union Cabinet today.  

GoM finally came to a conclusion yesterday details of which are not made public.  Union Cabinet meeting is scheduled today in the evening to discuss on it. Many speculations are going on in the absence of the details of the final bill.  No one seems to be clear about the contents of the draft Bill made by GoM but protests are going on.

TRS, BJP, CPI parties have announced their party’s dissatisfaction about Rayala Telangana proposal in which alongwith the 10 districts asked by Telangana two more districts- Kurnool and Anantapur from Rayalaseema are added.  

But as per the information received GoM made its report with some options open to the Cabinet to decide.

Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde told journalists outside North Block said, “The GoM set up by the Cabinet on October 3 held its final meeting on Wednesday. The GoM’s report and recommendations will be discussed in Union Cabinet meeting on Thursday.”
