A B Tech student from IIT Kanpur was arrested by CID police in Hyderabad for allegedly posting obscene pictures of a girl from the same institute as she presumably refused to marry him. He was traced with the help of the IP address. The accused, Surender and the victim belong to Mahabubabad in Warangal district.

The police said that this girl came in contact with Surender during her preparation to crack Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The lust of Surender made turned into a grudge when the girl refused to marry him. He created a fake profile in the social networking website and posted the girl's obscene pictures. He even posted the morphed photos of girl's sister and gave the number of girl's mother to the people with whom he used to chat in the guise of a girl.

Following the complaint by the victim's father, the police plunged into the action and arrested the accused.
