The TRS party chief, K Chandrashekara Rao has said that their party would not be dissolved and would not be merged into any party at any cost. He has said that the movement would be intensified after by-polls. Since exams are underway the party was said to be silent keeping in view the future of students.
With the party celebrating its 11th formation day today, KCR made it clear that question of merging the party doesn’t arise. Talking about the suspension of Congress MPs, KCR has said that not just MPs but the self-esteem of Telangana was pulled out of the Parliament. He has expressed his anguish over the same. He has asked the Congress MPs to quit the Congress to join the active movement. No laying back until Telangana state is formed, he added.
KCR, meanwhile, congratulated all those behind who took the efforts for the formation of TRS. He garlanded the photo of Telangana ideologue late Jayashankar and then observed silence for two minutes.
It has to be mentioned here that KCR reportedly told earlier that TRS would be dissolved into the Congress party if it nods to carve out the state. Now he made contradictory statement. All in all, political parties seem to be playing with the sentiments of the people. (Phani)
