An aged couple were brutally murdered by unknown miscreants in the Guntur District, late Thursday night. The brutal incident occurred in the Narasaraopet town of the district. The deceased were identified as Madhira Peddi Reddy and his wife Rathamma. As per sources due to summer the couples sleep outside their house within their compound. As usual on the fateful day both slept in the corridors. Late in the night some miscreants entered the house stealthily and murdered the couple in the most brutal way.

Police have registered a case. Investigations are on and the reasons of the murder are yet to be identified. The couple living in the Barampet area, located in Metta Bazaar of the town, was brutally murdered while asleep by unknown assailants. The assailants escaped unidentified under the cover of darkness.
