Judgment on Babu’s `vacate’ petition today

The High Court is today to deliver the judgment on the Telugu Desam Party President N Chandra Babu Naidu’s (NCB) `vacate’ petition. NCB had earlier filed a petition to exempt his property to be investigated by authorities. Justice G Rohini and Justice Ashutosh Mehta heard the arguments of NCB’s council on December 14 and postponed the judgment for the day.

NCB’s petition is in lieu with the one filed by the Y S R Congress Honorary President, Y S Vijayamma. She had requested the court to let the Central Bureau of Investigations to investigate the properties of the TDP leader.  The apex court in response to the petition asked the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry in to the assets of NCB.

Objecting to this, NCB filed the `vacate’ petition. Others involved in the case along with NCB are the media baron, Eenadu Founder Ramoji Rao, Nama Nageswarrao, C M Ramesh and Murali Mohan. All of them filed the `vacate’ petitions and the judgment was slated for today. Now much is awaited in this judgment as more influential heads are involved in the state.  Will NCB and party, be allowed to go scot free or will they have to go through the grind. Law is equal to all, is the prominent verse that hits headlines always. So let us wait and watch to know the developments. Keep tab on this place for more lively updates.
