London police have arrested three Indians for attacking Telugu MBA student Mr Praveen Reddy Friday last at his apartment at Plaistow, a suburb in the East London.

Scotland Yard police said the three were arrested from the same address where 26-year old Praveen Reddy has been living. “It is not a racial attack, all the arrested were Indians only,” said a police officer in London.

Praveen Reddy’s condition is still critical and he is being treated at Newham General Hospital in East London. He was stabbed in the stomach repeatedly by the accused on Friday for some petty reasons, according to police.

Police said they have arrested Mareshwar Arava (25), Sai Kishore Balguri (25) and Nishanth Puttapaka (23) and all of them are supposed to be the roommates of Praveen Reddy. London police have charged them with a case of attempt to murder.

Praveen Reddy is the son of Sudhakar Reddy, a Hyderabad based businessman. He has been pursuing his MBA at the London School of Business. (JUBS)
