Two persons were killed instantly and six others injured severely when a lorry lost control and rammed into a house in the Putalapattu Police Station limits in Chittor district today.

The injured were shifted a hospital but the condition of two of them was stated to be serious. The two persons killed were identified as B. Ed students from Pileru. Police have rushed to the spot and have registered a case of negligence against the driver of the vehicle.

“We have arrested the driver and there seemed to be a problem with the vehicle. We are investigating the incident,” said police.  (JUBS)
