Lorry accident in Miriyalaguda, one killed

Police were called out to a collision between two Lorries in the Nalgonda district, early this morning. Two Lorries approaching from opposite directions collided into each other. In the wee hours of the day at Miriyalaguda, Hanuman pet junction, two Lorries collided. One person was killed and five others were injured. The injured are being treated at government hospitals. The Lorries were travelling in opposite directions, which was the main reason for the severity confirmed the sources.

Police confirmed that one person had died on the spot, while five were undergoing treatment. They said that the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions and made a head-on collision at the junction. Almost both vehicles were damaged severely. Traffic was disrupted for a while.
