Amid reports that the congress high command has put the Telangana issue in cold storage for at least another six months ahead of the assembly elections in five states including the key state of UP, TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu has spit fire on the TRS Chief Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao and has also thrown a bizarre challenge to him.
Charging KCR with adopting silence on the Telangana issue, Narasimhulu said the TRS leader has been sleeping like a Telangana Kumbhakarna. “He sleeps for six months like a Kumbhakarna and keeps awake for another six months but when he is awake, he gets people killed in the name of Telangana agitation,” he told a press conference in Hyderabad today.
“You are not sincere towards the cause of Telangana. I am ready to hang myself to the martyrs’ memorial to prove my sincerity towards Telangana. Are you also ready to hang to the martyrs’ memorial and prove your sincerity for the T cause?” he challenged the TRS chief.
Motkupalli charged KCR with instigating SC and ST students and youth in the name of Telangana agitation and getting them killed.
KCR’s silence is a strategy: TRS
TRS leaders K. Taraka Rama Rao and Harish Rao described the silence of KCR as strategic.
Addressing the TRS cadres at a programme organized at Indira Park in the state capital to mark the day as ‘Telangana betrayal day’, Harish Rao said the silence of KCR is like calm before storm.
KTR described the silence of his father as a gun hanging on the wall. “The gun will start firing soon,” he said. (JUBS)
