Former minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy’s close relative Mr Narasimha reddy died of shock Tuesday evening after hearing about the death of Mr Prathik reddy, 17, in a road accident earlier.

Narasimha reddy, brother of former minister Indrakaran reddy, hailed from Adilabad district and was closely related to Komatireddy Venkatareddy.  When he heard the news of the accident and the death of Prathik reddy, he died of shock immediately in Hyderabad.

Prathik reddy, son of Komatireddy Venkatareddy, was killed in a road accident on the outer ring road near Hyderabad Tuesday evening when his speeding Skoda car hit a road divider and turned upside down when he tried to avoid running over a herd of sheep. 

Two of his friends were also killed on the spot while fourth person was seriously injured.

Politicians console Komatireddy

Several top politicians including the chief minister Mr Kirankumar reddy, Speaker Nadendla Manohar, TRS chief KCR, Home Minister Jana reddy and several others expressed their sympathies to the family.

Most of the politicians visited the residence of Komatireddy and personally conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.  (JUBS)
