Telangana political JAC convener Prof Kodanda Ram today accused former minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy of cheating the Telangana people by voting against the no-confidence motion in the assembly.

After hoisting the Telangana flag at the martyrs’ memorial at Gun Park in Hyderabad as part of the observance of Telangana self-respect day, Kodanda ram told journalists that the JAC has declared a war on Komatireddy for his support to the Government on the no-trust confidence motion.

“We have run out of patience and we will take on the congress party too as it is our number one enemy on the Telangana issue,” Kodanda ram said.

Kodanda ram said that the Seema Andhra leaders blackmailed the Central congress leadership after the Dec 9, 2009 statement of union home minister Chidambaram and prevented the creation of Telangana state.

“The Centre should stick to the Dec 9 statement and grant statehood for the Telangana region immediately or else the agitation will be intensified again,” he warned. Reacting to the reports that TDP Telangana Forum has decided to launch its agitation for Telangana, he said the TDP leaders should first ask their leader Chandrababu to make his stand clear on the T issue and then launch their agitation.
