CBI charge-sheet underway in OMC, Naidu in dilemma

Well it is a cat and mouse game between the YSR Congress and TDP in the state and the winner, ofcourse being the ever winning strategist The Congress.

As per sources the Central Bureau of Investigation is finalizing the charge sheet in the Obulapuram Mining Scam. And the charge sheet only will figure out whether the Telugu Desam Party Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu is listed or not. But as of now it is advantage Naidu as the CBI has ignored the pleas of Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s accusations against Mr. Naidu.

As per the present stances the CBI charge sheet is finalized against Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brother-in-law B.V. Srinivas Reddy. Earlier in his statement Mr. Jagan had stated Mr. Naidu’s involvement in the case. But the CBI as of now has issued no notice to the TDP leader. Sources, however, said that only the charge-sheet contents can reveal whether the CBI has given a clean chit to Mr.  Naidu or Mr.  Jagan.

As per the Statement recorded by Mr. Jagan on November 04, he said Mr. Naidu transferred the mining lease in favor of OMC in 2002 when he was Chief Minister, hence he urged that Mr. Naidu also must be questioned in this regard. But the CBI maintained that Janardhan Reddy was not a partner of the OMC, when the lease was transferred. The Bureau found that the board of directors at that time comprised Dinesh Kumar Singh, Snehalatha Singh, K. Nagabhushanam, Shoba Kotari, Rammohan Reddy, Ravindranath Reddy and Prasad Reddy.

The next allegation was, that during Mr. Naidu’s regime, permits were given to transfer iron ore for OMC. These claims have yet to be ascertained by the investigating agency, as the charge sheet preparation was underway. But there are all chances for the CBI to file a subsidiary charge sheet depending on further investigation in the case.
