Gali judicial custody extended till Nov 28

The special court of CBI at Nampally in Hyderabad today extended till Nov 28 the judicial custody of the accused in the illegal mining case Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother in law BV Srinivasa reddy.

They are presently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail enjoying the special prisoner status. The court has granted them A prisoner status a few days ago.

The court conducted the hearing trough video conferencing as their custody has ended today and passed the orders extending it further. The CBI officials arrested the third accused in the case Mr Rajagopal who was the former director of the mining department in the state government.

Mr Rajagopal is to yet to be produced before the CBI court while the investigating agency has so far not arrested the fourth accused Ms Srilakshmi, an IAS officer who served as the secretary in the industries and mining department and granted out of the turn favours to Gali Janardhan reddy. She is presently on leave
