Kiran Sonia discuss AP affairsChief Minister Kirankumar Reddy today met the congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence in Delhi and explained the political situation in the state to her.

Sources said both the leaders discussed T employees’ strike and Telangana issue in detail. The issue of selection of the congress candidate for the forthcoming election to the legislative council from the assembly quota has also come up for discussion.

A vacancy has arisen in the legislative council as the former chief minister K. Rosaiah has resigned his seat after being appointed as the Governor of Tamil Nadu. CM will finalize the party’s candidate during his present trip.

Kirankumar reddy who arrived in Delhi on Friday held consultations with senior minister Pranab Mukherjee and in charge of the congress affairs in AP Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad last night.

The Chief Minister today participated in the National Development Council meeting and explained about the developmental activities in the state.
