Fearing CBI raids and arrests, the near and dear ones of the arrested mining czar Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy are on the run.

While most of his friends and close aides in Bellary left the town leaving their houses locked, Janardhan Reddy’s sister Ms Rajeswari and her husband Mr Sudhakar Reddy have gone underground. Reports said they went underground on the day Janardhan reddy and his cousin Srinivasa reddy were arrested in Bellary.

Both Rajeswari and Sudhakar Reddy reside in a palace like building constructed and gifted by the mining baron near the SP Government degree college at Kalahasti in Chittor district. Janardhan reddy flew several times in his helicopter to the temple town to visit his sister and brother in law.

While Rajeswari is a home maker, Sudhakar Reddy is a teacher in the government primary school in the KVB Puram in the district.

Locals say that Sudhakar Reddy stopped allowing even his close friends into his house after they joined the highly luxurious house gifted by the Gali brothers.
