
AP High Court today issued notices to the TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao and Telangana political JAC convener Prof. Kodanda ram asking them to explain why action cannot be taken against them for organizing bandhs continuously and disrupting normal public life in Hyderabad and elsewhere.
Acting on a public interest litigation (PIL) petition filed by a lawyer Mr Krishnaiah, the High Court issued notice to the state government to explain the action being taken to prevent bandhs to ensure the continuity of public life.
The lawyer sought direction to the government to take steps to prevent bandhs as continuous bandhs are causing hardship to the people.
