Believe it or not, YSR congress party president YS Jaganmohan reddy has earned the wrath of millions of Hindus, especially the devotees of the Saint Raghavendra Swamy for showing total disrespect to the tradition when he entered the Sree Raghavendra Swamy temple at Mantralayam during his Padayatra in Kurnool district on Sunday.
Even top political personalities, Union Ministers, Governors, chief Ministers and other VVIPs used to show respect towards the tradition and remove their shirts and upper clothes while stepping into the Sri Raghavendra Swamy temple.
However, Jagan feels he is beyond all these traditions and should not necessarily follow them. Jagan didn’t remove his shirt when he entered the temple leaving the hundreds of devotees and on lookers in shock and dismay.
Adding more disrespect to the highly venerable saint, all his followers and security guards too entered the temple even without removing their footwear, let alone remove their shirts, according to reports.
Jagan has been indulging in the gimmickry of visiting all Hindu temples to convince people that he was a Hindu too with a view to attract the Hindu votes in elections but in the process he is making unpardonable blunders like his father did in case of the Tirumala Hills.
It must be remembered that the late YSR had toyed with the idea of dividing the seven hills of the lord Balaji at Tirumala and allot three of the seven hills to Christianity. Hindu devotees believe YSR died in the helicopter crash as he earned the wrath of the Lord Sri Venkateswara.
“His son is also doing the same mistake. Jagan must observe the traditions whenever he enters the Hindu temples,” said a devotee of Raghavendra Swamy. “Otherwise, he may earn the curse of the Gods.”
