Railway projects in state to be completed in 5 years

kiranUnion Minister of state for Railways Mr Muniyappa met the Chief Minister Mr Kirankumar reddy this afternoon at the Secretariat in Hyderabad and requested him to allot land speedily for completing the railway projects in the state.

Muniyappa later told media persons that he had requested the CM to allot 2000 acres for completing all pending projects in the state. β€œI told the chief minister that all pending projects in the state would be completed with in five years if the land is allotted,” he said.

Kiran kumar promised him he would take steps to remove obstacles in land acquisition for the railway projects in the state. β€œHe said he would conduct review meetings every month to assess the progress of land acquisition for railways,” said Muniyappa.

Asked when all the pending projects in the state would be completed, the railway minister said he was confident of completing the projects in five years if the require land is allotted.
