With the assembly speaker Mr. Nadendla Manohar rejecting the resignation letters of T congress MLAs and those of other parties assigning the reason that they had quit posts under emotional stress, the congress leaders are planning to resign once again to keep up the pressure on the congress high command and the Centre.
The Telangana congress leaders will take a final decision this evening or tomorrow after a meeting with the Union Minister and in charge of AP congress affairs Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi today.
It may be mentioned that Manohar had rejected the resignations of MLAs of all the parties before he left for London Saturday night leading to a flurry of activity in political parties of the Telangana area.
Most of the parties have described the decision of the Speaker as politically motivated and said that the Speaker had buckled under pressure. Leaders of all parties have said that they would resign again.
Azad asked the T congress leaders to come for discussions on the T issue and the first round of discussions are scheduled for this evening. Most of the T congress MPs and Ministers have left for Delhi this afternoon to participate in the discussions.
