Jagan promises utopia to people

jaganYSR Congress president Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy promised to implement a series of welfare measures for the people of the state if his party is elected to power in the next assembly elections.

Addressing leaders and activists at his party’s first plenary at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on Friday, Jagan said he would bring the moon to the earth to turn the state into a welfare state once he becomes the chief minister of the state. The plenary coincided with the 62nd birth anniversary of his father YSR.

In addition to bringing back the welfare schemes implemented by his late father, Jagan also promised to introduce new welfare measures for the benefit of the poor people in the state. Some of the promises Jagan made to people on the occasion are given below:

*30 kg rice per month at Rs 2 per kilo

*An increase in the old age pensions to Rs 700 a month and Rs 1,000 for disabled persons.

* Construction of 10 lakh houses for the poor every year.

* Special budget for farmers

* Interest-free loans to farmers and sisters

*Improvement of 104 and 108 services

*Introduction of 102 and 103 services for farmers exclusively

*Strict implementation of NREGS

*Monthly pension Rs.700 for widows and old persons

* Cash transfer of Rs.500 to Rs.700 into the accounts of mothers

In return, Jagan has asked the people to elect 35 MPs of his party to Lok Sabha in the next elections.
