T leaders return empty-handed

Telangana MinistersThe Telangana congress leaders, who held consultations with Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and Pranab Mukherjee continuously for two days in Delhi on the issue of Telangana, returned empty-handed this evening to Hyderabad.

The union ministers only asked them to be available for further consultations but gave no assurance on when the process for formation of a separate Telangana state would be initiated.

After tendering resignations en masse demanding the formation of the separate state of Telangana, congress MLAs and MLCs and some ministers of  the  Telangana region  left for Delhi Monday afternoon.

The T congress leaders, after demanding a solution with in a fixed time frame, failed to get an assurance from the high command on when the process of consultations would be initiated and ended.
