Hyderabad police commissioner AK Khan said today that the death of the 26-year old dermatologist Ms. Kiran reddy, niece of the Union Minister S. Jaipal reddy, was not natural. Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, he said that the post mortem report is expected soon for taking up the investigation into her death. “Post-mortem is over but we have sent a detailed questionnaire to the doctors and the full report will come soon based on which our action will follow,” he said. “At the time of her death, both were in inebriated condition,” Khan added.
Meanwhile, police simultaneously began questioning Kiran reddy’s husband Chaitanya Reddy and in-laws after her father Raghottam Reddy suspected foul play by them in the death.
Kiran Reddy was found dead in her house at Bharani Layout in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on June 18 and police first registered a case of suspicious death. But, they have modified it after suspicions were raised.
