Agreeing for the first time that the congress leaders of the Telangana region are sincerely trying to achieve the Telangana state, TRS president K. Chandrasekhara rao today assured them that they would be re-elected again with bumper majority if they quit their seats and contest again for the sake of Telangana.

Speaking at a function to thank the party cadres and activists for making the Sunday’s Vanta-Vaarpu programme a grand success, KCR called upon the congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs of the Telangana region to submit their resignations to bring Telangana to their feet.
 
“We know you are trying sincerely to bring Telangana but with your deadlines, it won’t come. Telangana will come to your feet if you resign and create a crisis for the UPA government,” he said assuring them that all of them will get reelected with bumper majorities on JAC platform.

KCR said that he will take the initiative to meet the T congress MPs and MLAs for convincing them to quit their posts and submit their quit letters to the Speakers of Assembly and Lok Sabha.

Vanta Vaarpu

KCR and his wife participated in the Vanta-Vaarpu programme at Banjara Hills and thanked the party cadres for participating in large numbers and making it a grand success.

All over Hyderabad and Secunderabad, TRS and pro-Telangana activists cooked food on roadside at several junctions and invited people for lunch on Sunday. The programme was taken up as part of the third and final phase of Telangana agitation.
