Health department officials today raided and sealed the Yaxin Laboratories located at Miyapur in Hyderabad for conducing clinical trails on humans.

 

The top management of the company has reportedly agreed to have conducted clinical trails on some people of the Piduguralla in Guntur district. They have agreed to their illegal act of conducting the trails especially on a woman named Dhanalakshmi of the Piduguralla town.

 

Leading Telugu daily Eenadu exposed the illegal clinical trails being conducted by some pharmaceutical companies in Hyderabad using the poor people of the Piduguralla area as guinea pigs. The daily published investigative story saying that most of the people who underwent these clinical trials are poor people and are now suffering with peculiar diseases.

 

Health officials of the Guntur district today visited Piduguralla, inquired with the victims and got some of the seriously affected persons into government hospitals at Guntur.
