PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana today convened a meeting of ministers to discus the implementation of various important programmes.
Most of the ministers and deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha attended the meeting at Gandhi Bhavan where the PCC chief asked them to carry on the message of ordinance issued recently by the government to protect the interest of tenant farmers.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan signed the ordinance on Wednesday last extending the benefits of owners of land to even tenant farmers, with regards to crop loans, insurance, input subsidy among other benefits.
Botsa asked the ministers to spread the benefits of this ordinance among the tenant farmers and the rural people. The PCC chief has asked the ministers not to depend on the CM for each and every thing but work with dedication taking own decisions on matters of importance depending on the necessity.
