Cong MPs to take responsibility of T stateTelangana congress MP Mr Ponnam Prabhakar said today the party MPs of the region would take full responsibility for any statement on Telangana that is likely to be made by the Centre. “We will hold full responsibility for any statement that the Centre will make on Telangana, irrespective of its nature,” he told media persons in Hyderabad.

He said he is confident of the Centre sticking to the December 9, 2009 statement on Telangana. “All congress MPs of Telangana will leave for Delhi on June 9 to seek a statement on the formation of Telangana state from the high command” he said.

Prabhakar said they are ready to launch an indefinite fast in case the Centre is not willing to give Telangana. “We are ready to go to any extent to achieve Telangana,” he asserted, adding that one should not find fault with the statement of the Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad that the Telangana is very complex issue and cannot solved overnight
