Senior congress leader of the Telangana region and Rajya Sabha member Mr. K. Kesava Rao announced that the congress MPs of Telangana are ready to quit their posts for the sake of Telangana.
Addressing the members of the Telangana Journalists Forum at Jantar Mantar in Delhi this afternoon, Kesava Rao demanded the government to announce a clear decision in June on the formation of Telangana. “If there is no decision in June, the agitation will be intensified,” he warned the government.
“A joint programme is necessary by all political parties for achieving the Telangana state,” Kesava Rao said adding that the agenda of all political parties in Telangana should be one and the same, Telangana,” he called upon the T parties.
Congress MP Manda Jagannadham, BJP leader Mr Prakash Javadekar, Telangana Praja Front Chairman Gaddar, Social activist Swami Agnivesh and TRS leaders Etela Rajender, KTR and Harish Rao also addressed the T journalists who organized a demonstration demanding immediate announcement on Telangana.
