Jagan loyalists on the brink

Jagan loyalists on the brinkCongress MLAs supporting YSR Congress party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy have reportedly sent feelers to the chief minister Kirankumar reddy requesting him not to take any disciplinary action against them and assuring him that they would come back to the party fold.

Fed up with the attitude of Jagan who has bluntly refused to give any sort of assurance that the party tickets would be allotted to them in the next elections, the MLAs owing allegiance to Jagan have also decided not to resort to any mass resignations as planned earlier.

The pro-Jagan MLAs offered to quit their assembly membership for his sake and trouble the congress party but they have sought an assurance from him that they would surely get the party tickets in the next elections whenever they are held.

Jagan, however, is reported to have refused to give such an assurance and told them that tickets would be given based on surveys to be conducted by the party. This has come as shock to the MLAs who have stood by him all these days despite facing the imminent threat of being disqualified by the party.

They are also not happy with the attitude of Jagan who has been gradually nurturing the second rung of leaders in their constituencies.

Faced with an uncertain political future in the YSR Congress party, most of them seem to be planning to return to the fold of the congress. Accordingly, they have requested the chief minister not to take any action against them.
