The first plenary meeting of the YSR congress will be held at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on July 8. Party president YS Jaganmohan reddy disclosed this to some journalists in Hyderabad on Friday.
Jagan disclosed that his immediate priority is to strengthen the party at the grass root level and the plenary is only a part of an exercise to strengthen the party. He said the plenary will also decide the party’s stand on several issues including the Telangana one.
He said he won the by election despite the collusion of congress and TDP to defeat him. Jagan said the people of the state have been facing severe hardships under the congress regime and they would be able to smile only if this government goes.
“The congress tried to take away the YSR legacy from me and my victory is a slap on its face,” he said.
