Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy today denied that the state government sent any reports to the Centre against the creation of the Telangana state.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Kiran said that the decision on Telangana is not in his hands and he would stand by whatever decision the central government takes on the issue. “We have not sent any unfavorable reports on Telangana but it is in the hands of the Centre and we will stand by the decision of the Centre on the issue, what ever it is,” he said, “It is not good for any one to trouble the government in the name of Telangana.”
The chief minister said that the Centre would take a decision on the issue of Telangana by conducting an all party meeting after the budget session of the Parliament and everyone would have to wait for a decision. “But the decision may not come before May. We can expect a decision on the issue only after May,” he said.
Speaking on the Legislative council elections, Kiran said that congress party would issue a whip and action would be taken against the violators.
