According to the Congress Party's sources in New Delhi, the Party High Command has apparently chosen the names of the following for the MLC seats from the quota of local bodies:

Viswa Prasad (Srikakulum); Gidigu Rudraraju (East Godavari); Ganga Bhavani (West Godavari); Vakati Narayan Reddy(Nellore); Naresh Reddy(Chittoor); Patil Venugopal Reddy (Anantapur); S V Mohan Reddy (Kurnool).

While the party's nominee for Cuddapah is yet to be decided upon.

The Congress Party has not officially declared the names of these for the MLC seats.
