Kapu onslaught begins on Reddy CM

bost-satanarayanaThe Kapu ministers in the Kirankumar reddy cabinet, rallying around the dynamic, chief ministerial aspirant Botsa Satyanarayana, have launched a fresh onslaught against the chief minister for showing him in a poor light in the wake of the defeat of three congress candidates in the just concluded Legislative Council elections on the local bodies’ quota.

Showing the defeat as a pretext to complain against him to the party high command, Botsa, fully backed by the other Kapu Ministers Vatti Vasant Kumar and Kanna Laxminarayana, put forth his argument with the party bosses in Delhi that the Reddy CM has not been able to carry along with him the ministers of all castes in taking decisions of importance.

What the Kapu lobby wanted to prove before the high command is that the CM has done injustice to the Kapu community in the selection of candidates for the Council poll leading to the defeat of the party candidates in the council elections.

The other point they have raised with the high command is that Kirankumar had entered into a secret pact with the Kamma dominated TDP’s Chief Chandrababu Naidu alienating the Kapu representatives of the local bodies.

Because of these two factors, the chief minister’s aim of defeating the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy’s candidates in the elections had boomeranged on the party and the fault totally was with the CM, Botsa reportedly complained to Sonia.

The ultimate point Botsa and the ministers of his caste brought to the fore is that the CM had totally failed in coordinating with all the groups in the party for the sake of the elections.
