T cong MLAs agree to attend assembly

Telangana congress MLAs, Mock Assembly, Telangana Journalists Forum, boycott of the assembly sessionsCongress MLAs of the Telangana region, who have been boycotting the assembly for a few days along with TRS and Telangana TDP MLAs, today agreed to attend the assembly sessions after the PCC Chief D. Srinivas and the chief minister Kirankumar reddy spoke to them and convinced them.
As the news spread that the congress MLAs may attend the mock assembly convened by the Telangana Journalists Forum, CM and the PCC chief held discussions with the MLAs and told them that their continuous boycott of the assembly would send wrong signals to the people.
“The T issue is not in our hands and the Centre will take a decision on it at the appropriate time,” the CM told them. “What is the use of boycotting the sessions? Will you get Telangana by boycotting the assembly?” Srinivas asked them.
The congress MLAs have ultimately agreed to attend the assembly session till the Centre takes a decision on the demand for formation of the Telangana state.
Meanwhile, the TRS and BJP MLAs and TDP MLAs of the Telangana region attended the mock assembly session conducted by the Telangana Journalists Forum.
