Narasimhan also met the Union Home secretary, CBI director and the Director of the Intelligence Bureau se parately and reportedly discussed the various sensitive issues concerning the state.
TRS has already announced that it will intensify the agitation for Telangana after May 15 and the political JAC chairman Professor Kondan Ram too hinted it would chalk out its course of action shortly.
TRS, which announced that it would wait for a decision by the Centre on Telangana till the elections in the five states are completed, had kept its word and remained calm all these days. JAC also remained calm though it did not make any official announcements.
However, as the election process in the five states would be over by May 15, they have hinted at intensifying the agitation. Narasimhan’s meeting with Chidambaram assumes significance in this backdrop.
