Governor Approves To Dissolution Of Telangana Assembly:- As expected Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao opted out for early polls in the newly formed Telangana. The first government in the state has been dissolved this afternoon and Governor ESL Narasimhan approved the decision of the government in dissolving the Assembly. With polls planned in April / May 2019, Telangana government has been dissolved 8 months and 26 days prior as they are in plans for early polls that will take place this December.

Governor Narasimhan asked KCR and his cabinet to continue in office as a caretaker government. KCR will meet the press soon and will reveal the reasons for dissolving the Assembly. There are talks that the candidates of TRS too will be announced. With not many changes, almost all the sitting MLAs are expected to get their seats. The opposition parties questioned KCR to reveal the reason for dissolving the Assembly eight months earlier.
