Even as the internationally revered spiritual Guru Sri Satya Sai Baba was battling for life undergoing dialysis and surviving on pacemaker in Sri Satya Sai super specialty hospital at Puttaparthi in Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh, reports indicated of a succession struggle going on between the Guru’s brother Janakiram’s son and the Satya Sai Trust to take control of the Sai properties estimated at thousands of crores of rupees.
On the instructions of the Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy, government specialist doctors are supervising the medical treatment being extended to the God man.
A security blanket was thrown around Puttaparthi with more than 5000 cops attending to security duties as thousands of Baba’s devotees have been thronging Prasanthi Nilayam on hearing the news of his hospitalization.
Reports said that the state government has also deputed a team of High Court Judges to resolve the succession struggle and manage the documentation of the properties held by the Trust on behalf of Sri Sai.
