Count down for Telangana starts

It is all over now and Telangana region is all set to go for polling in next 36 hours. Elections in Telangana region are life and death issue for BJP, Congress, TDP and TRS parties as which ever party wins the election will create history of establishing government in separate Telangana state. All the four major parties are confident of their victory.

Sonia-Gandhi-Rahul-Gandhi-Manmohan-Singh-meeting

Congress is heavily banking for its promise of delivering Telangana statehood however, the campaign was not that aggressive. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Manmohan Singh's meeting weren't successful while the Telangana Congress leaders are little worried displaying a brave face outside. Also majority of Congress leaders were confined to their constituency and no one lead the election campaign from the front. Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah will face a tough fight who won the previous elections with a very small majority. Other ex-ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Jana Reddy, DK Aruna and many leaders are in great threat from the TRS party candidates.

Modi-Pawan-Kalyan

BJP is replying more on the Narendra Modi factor. It also want to cash the Telangana sentiment and went into campaign by saying that it supported the Telangana Bill in Parliament. Alliance with Telugu Desam party may not benefit both parties as the negative impression on Chandrababu Naidu is yet to get erased. But despite that BJP and TDP have campaigned aggressively and the support of Jana Sena party founder and actor Pawan Kalyan will act as an advantage for them. Pawan campaigned for both the parties and also made few controversial statements against TRS party and its leaders which got positive response from the public.

K-Chandrasekhar-Rao

Like no other party, TRS is battling very hard in this elections. The entire campaign responsibility was taken chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and campaigned in almost 100 constituencies all over the Telangana region. All the parties target was TRS, KCR and KCR's family and as magician of words, KCR replied to all the provoking statements in his own style. But the allegations over the KCR's wealth, assets and his family may turn the tables and in Hyderabad TRS presence is zero. The poll surveys also predicted that TRS may not win even single seat in Hyderabad and in South Telangana the party is very weak with no credible leaders.

YSRCP-MIM

YSRCP, MIM were confined to limited constituencies as they contested in only at certain place where they have strong local presence. CPI and CPM are also contesting individually and there chances to win are best known to them. CPI as part of deal with Congress is contesting for Khammam Lok Sabha. Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal [TRLD] and Aam Aadmi party are the minor parties and they weren't yet recognized by the public.

The public too are ready to give their opinion but in the next two weeks we have to see how leaders will be visiting temples and holy places and praying for their respective parties victory in elections. Wishing them all the very best!
