The PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana asked the elected leaders of the Congress party not to criticize the party's decision on the State bifurcation but at the same time they are at liberty to voice the anguish of the people they are representing.
He talked to the media representatives at Hyderabad Gandhi Bhawan on Tuesday after he talked to the congress leaders.
Botsa said that a list is being made of the leaders who are planning to defect the party and disciplinary action will be initiated against them. He also said that he has the party high command’s go ahead to revamp DCCs.
In an attempt to disillusion the party leaders Botsa said that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is not going to float a new party.
Botsa also said that the MLAs can represent in the Assembly as per the aspirations of the people of their constituencies for which no action will be taken against them as they can express the opinion of the people they are representing. He assured that no restrictions will be imposed on them.
As the talk is going on that the Chief Minsiter Kiran Kumar Reddy is going to launch a new political party as he has earned goodwill in Seemandhra for raising his voice against party’s high command, Botsa made it clear that he is not going to launch a new party and also that raising voice against the party will not do any good to any.
At the same time he said that the 3 years of Kiran Kumar Reddy’s rule in the State is good. But he also criticized Kiran Kumar’s asking for a package to Telangana as previously he was against a package to Telangana.
