Boundaries in politics!

Boundaries in politics!

Andhra Pradesh has so far witnessed many political leaders who exchanged words only in the best interest of their political parties and apparently had no personal grudges against each other. Be it KCR and Lagadapati or Chandrababu and YS Rajashekara Reddy—all of them exchanged words before the media but were spotted many a time shaking hands. May be they do it for the sake of formality of for something else, probably not even once the state openly seen any politician declaring that so and so leaders happens to be the enemy.

There are actually two things when we speak about politics—one being criticism and the other one being the competition. In the cut throat competition, leaders often end up adopting the former one to make their points. And enmity is something that probably has no place in the dictionary of political science, as per analysts. By enmity, it simply means that whatever the person does (whether good or bad) will be disliked by the other given that the person hates him on basis of some particular thing or reason.

Putting every analyst in shock and making every politician awful, a leader in the state gave new definition to the politics by openly stating that chief minister of the state that he's residing in happens to be his enemy. The Congress leaders, to whose party the chief minister belongs to, had nothing to say except to tuck their anger tight under the lips. Whatever it might be, the observers said that it's not at all a healthy sign to directly state that chief minister was his enemy. Criticism is always acceptable in politics, as long as it's constructive, but not enmity, added observers. Let us hope that the differences between the said leader and chief minister erase soon in the best interests of the people residing here.
