Congress MP says Telangana cannot take Hyderabad

Opposing the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Congress MP Vundavalli Aruna Kumar has expressed that Hyderabad does not belong to any single region. He reiterated that people from both Andhra and Rayalaseema have contributed immensely to the capital's development and that no one has a right to claim ownership of the city.

"Hyderabad belongs to people from all regions of the state," the MP was reported as saying. An MP for Rajahmundry, Aruna Kumar noted that the TRS is deliberately trying to create trouble between Andhra and Rayalaseema and Telangana. He appealed to the constitution of 2nd States' Reorganization Commission to think hard before caving in the demands of bifurcation. The MP is fiercely opposed to the creation of Telangana.

Aruna Kumar intends to convince MPs to protest against the creation of Telangana in the Parliament.
