The startling admission comes in a interview the First Lady did with iVillage on her family’s television viewing habits. After stating that she doesn’t let her daughters watch non-educational programming during weekdays. Like most moms, Mrs. Obama regulates television and screen time. The first daughters are not allowed to watch television or be on the computer during the week unless it is related to schoolwork and they can watch limited television on weekends.

When asked if any television shows are completely off-limits for the first daughters, Michelle Obama said, "Barack really thinks (Keeping up with the Kardashians) -- when they watch that stuff -- he doesn't like that as much. But I sort of feel like if we're talking about it... I'm more concerned with how they take it in. 'what did you learn when you watched that?' If they're learning the right lessons, like, 'That was crazy,' then I'm like, 'Okay.'"

Inspite of hectic schedules the key for her, is family dinner. "It's really the interaction that we have as a family that makes it feels like a home," she said. "It's sitting down at the dinner table and Barack's day is really the last thing anyone really cares about."
