Satya Nadella named as the Chairman of Microsoft:- Indian origin NRI Satya Nadella is the Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft and the tech giant announced that Satya Nadella will chair its board adding more powers for Satya Nadella. He has been elected unanimously as the Head of Microsoft Board of Directors told Microsoft through an official post. Satya Nadella was named as the successor for Steve Ballmer in 2014 February and he made Microsoft more relevant in the market. Satya Nadella ordered a massive reorganization in his journey and he planned cutting 18,000 jobs which is 14 percent of the total workforce for Microsoft. The 53-year-old genius also made a priority of cloud computing. Microsoft will unveil the new generation Windows operating system next week. It built an empire through Windows and Office which is used on more than three-quarters of the world's desktop computers. Satya Nadella has been more focused on renting software and services in the cloud computing. Satya Nadella will be the Chairman of Microsoft and has chances of taking many more decisions for the growth of Microsoft in the coming future. Microsoft founder Bill Gates stepped down from the board last year saying that he would focus more on Bill Gates Foundation for charities.

Telangana government in plans to lift the Lockdown:- The new cases of coronavirus saw a steep decline in most of the states of the country. Several state governments imposed relaxations as things have to return back to normal soon. The government of Telangana imposed relaxations from 6 AM to 5 PM along with an hour grace period for the people to return back to their homes. The deadline for these restrictions are said to end by 19th of this month. The state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) will meet in Pragathi Bhavan to discuss about the steps to be taken after the 19th of this month. There are talks that the Telangana government is in plans to lift the entire lockdown as the coronavirus in the state is under control. The daily tally of cases reported is close to 1500 which is minimal when compared to the other states. The Health Department of Telangana already submitted a report to the Chief Minister's office about the situation in the state. KCR also collected the feedback from the officials and the district Collectors of various districts in Telangana. KCR will also participate in various development activities in the state starting from the 20th of June. The Centre also announced about the free vaccination drive in all the states and to speed up the vaccination process, the government of Telangana is in plans to lift the entire lockdown. There are also talks that the government of Telangana government may continue the night curfew from 9 PM to 6 AM till the end of this month. A clarity on this is expected this week. 6617 new coronavirus cases reported in Andhra Pradesh:- A total number of 6617 new cases of coronavirus are reported in Andhra Pradesh. Along with Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh continued to report a high number of new cases on a daily basis. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the state reached 18,23,856 and the total number of recoveries for coronavirus reached 17,40,281. With 57 new deaths in the state, the total deaths in the state reached 12,109 and there are 71,466 active cases for coronavirus in the state in total. 62,224 new Coronavirus cases reported in India:- A total number of 62,224 new cases for coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 2,96,33,105. With 1,07,628 new recoveries and discharges, the total number of recoveries in the country reached 2,83,88,100. With 2542 new deaths reported in the country, the total death toll climbed to 3,79,573 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of active cases for coronavirus in India are said to be 8,65,432 and the total Indians who took up the vaccination shot for coronavirus are said to be 26,19,72,014. Around 28 lakh new people are vaccinated for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Kerala stands on the top of the list of new cases with 12,246 cases reported. The coronavirus vaccination program is happening at a fast pace for now. New Delhi's AIIMS decided to resume the OPD services in a phased manner in the hospitals which were suspended recently after the rise of coronavirus in the state. Dr NK Arora, Chair of India’s COVID-19 Working Group of National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI) said that the interval between the doses of Covishield has been increased on scientific evidence and not due to the shortage of vaccines. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, YS Jagan has not stalled his plans. Several leaders of YSRCP recently announced that the government will be shifted to Vizag very soon. Going with the recent developments, YS Jagan is keen to shift his Camp Office to Vizag and operate from July 23rd. The official residence and the Camp Office of YS Jagan are finalized recently and the necessary arrangements are being made. AP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana is personally overlooking the programs. YS Jagan is said to have informed about shifting the capital to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and AP Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan recently. Some of the cases about shifting the capital are pending in the High Court. As of now, YS Jagan alone will work from Vizag and the other departments related to the government will be shifted at a later date.
