'Telugu film Industry has become more or less like a mafia... the so called 3 or 4 big time film makers who are known to make films with star heroes are ruling the industry and even the theaters as if T - Town is their own personal property. Before Sankranti this year, there were at least 5 to 6 average budget films of well known heroes itself that released and were earning a fair cost of revenue. Each theater has been earning say 30 to 60 thousands of rupees per day, screening these films. But, during Sankranti 2 star heroes ka films were released and the film makers of these films have shared the theaters, passing an ultimatum to the theater owners to remove the screening of existing films and to release their films only. It is sad to notice almost everyone from the industry is supporting these film makers only. But, I will proceed legally if necessary and put an end to the meaningless actions of these film makers', said a film maker, Chedalavaada Srinivasa Rao.
It is the anguish of the film maker that made him organize the press conference and let the situation in T - Town... well, ab dekhna ye hai ki how far this issue will go further and at whose end the justice would be.
