The newest couple in B-Town, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who have married after being together for over 5 years now have been facing a few concerns among the wholehearted blessings from the family. The couple married at Saif's residence in Bandra in a registered marriage before which they threw a pre-wedding bash. Though the marriage was relatively simple, the reception had no shortfalls in the grandiosity with several who's who personalities attending the Dawat-e-Walima.
The Nikaah which was rumored to be held in the evening however was merely a rumor as designer Manish Malhotra, a close aide of Kareena, mentioned that the newly-weds exchanged vows and rings in the Christian style of a marriage. Babita, Kareena's mom had been following Christianity and hence wanted to solemnize her daughter's wedding with Christian traditions.
He added that the 32-year-old actress wore Saif`s grandmother`s traditional gharara for the ceremony last night which Sharmila Tagore had donned at her Nikaah. Designer Ritu Kumar had to tailor the hereditary gharara to fit Kareena.
